I have lived in Hamilton 61 years, and have always known the Henderson Hospital as the "Henderson" To change the name now would be a tradedy. I think the Jurvinski's contribution to the medical comminity in Hamilton is more than admirable and they are truly kind, giving and wonderful people. Having said that, it scares me to think that the past is so easily disposed of. Change is good for any city in many areas but to change something that has been a part of our city and my growing up would be a very tragic occurance. I am all for change, but somethings need to reamin the same. How much longer will the board of HHSC be able to do do anything they please. They just have not taken into consideration the feelings of the people who came before them and the pride we feel for our city. I am willing to bet that the majority of them are not even from Hamilton and are under 50 years of age and have no concept of who Nora Henderon really was. I encourage you to continue with your endeavour to keep the name of the hospital and not make Nora Hendeson an afterthought.
